1 Year Natural - Progress Pics

Its been a year since my BC and I've seen a lot of growth so I wanted to share.

This was my hair right after the BC:

These are my latest set of twists:

My twistout:

I attempted to straighten my hair for the first time since my BC yesterday...My ends are all poofy & I need a trim, but I'm happy with the length I've gained & retained

I made it to shoulder length after 12 months, I'm very happy. Now lets see how long before APL.

I think that's what I needed. I only deep conditioned for 30 mins with heat on dry hair before I straightened, and I dont think that was enough. I'm ddefinitely going to be deep conditioning for longer every week to put some more moisture in my hair.
