1 year Anniversary [with pics]

So, I've been texlaxed for about a year now, so I figured it was time for the official progress comparison! I think I did ok.

This is from when I first started in August '08. I take my pictures while my hair is wet, shameless cheating I know . I tried flat-ironing but that just gave me a ton of split ends, and I'm too impatient for roller-setting. So no straight hair for me .

I took this picture this morning. I did do one corrective in between because the back of my hair was basically natural. I don't think it really did anything because I still can't tell where my new growth starts . I've been stretching for 4 months now.

This progress would definetly have not been possible without LHCF and BHM, so thank you ladies! I've turned over a new leaf, hehe.

Oceans . If I let it air dry without doing twists or anything it ends up about chin length.
