1 week into my relaxer

and I feel new growth. This is strange, it's usually 2-3 weeks before I have noticeable new growth. I really don't know what's going on because I'm not doing anything different. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Really??? I'm sure I wasn't underprocessed. I went to the salon, and if anything she gets it too straight. It doesn't hold curls well until after the first couple of shampoos. I used to self-relax and then I got to the point that I was afraid I may overlap as my hair got longer. I started underprocessing and then I decided I had better go to the salon and get it professionally done.

diamondlady, girrl don't even question it. That's great if your hair growth is that noticeable after just 1 week.

Hopefully it will continue. Try measuring a strand now and then again at the end of the month and you may be pleasantly surprised.
