braid sideways/off the head like the pic below. you see how the left side(her right) is? i've been trying to figure this out for 3 days now!

is it a fishtail? a regular braid? which strand do i add hair to?

wish i could see the back or side. But it looks like they combed all the hair straight down on eachside and just fishbraided around the edge/rim of the hair. The left side seems like the fishbraid was wide and loose. She probably has a lot of hair hair or hair added the fish braid is very thick. Its very pretty though.

my plan was to have a sideways (fish)braid in the middle, and smooth on the sides. kinda like a remixed version of that alicia keys 'do

i saw it earlier. i do know how to fishtail already, just tryin to figure out how to do it sideways like that. it keeps coming out looking like an over-worked flat twist
