It's been a year and a half since I properly started trying to grow my hair long. I have never posted before and have no idea if this will work...

Some would claim APL but my ends are too raggedy for that. I'm not claiming it yet. :)

Great progress...looks like ur hair grows very fast. and the hundred million dollar question i always have to ask.... 'what is ur trimming regimen?'

Thanks, :)
I haven't trimmed at all...lol. I'm not cutting my relaxed ends off until I'm mbl. My hair grows half an inch per month most times, sometimes I get lucky and get 3/4 of an inch or an inch in summer. Recently I was eating homemade veg soup everyday and I got 3/4 of an inch:)
when I'm out of braids, once a week I prepoo overnight with coconut oil wrapped in cling film, the next day I put a mixture of greek yogurt, honey, olive oil and silk powder and leave for an hour, wrapped incling film. I then wash with shikakai bar soap and steam with the body shop honey conditioner. All of ths is done in sections; 4 at the back and 3 at the front. I then detangle each section after applying glycerin and water, then I seal with castor oil and plait. I then put profectiv megagrowth lotion on the ends and leave to dry. I then wear a braid out or bun for the week.
This is the first time I've straightened in 5months:)
Still no luck in making the pics appear.:(

that's awesome progress!

I'm new to the site and would like recommendations on how I should get started. For starters I'm not sure of my hair type. Please help!
