I am so conflicted. I have a hair appt Friday for a relaxer, but I'm in love with my NG, but i love my relaxed styles. I see the 1.5" of ng and I think of how cute it would look if i just chopped all the relaxed ends off but im so scared. can I see how twa's look? My hair is in the 4 range with some 3 tendencies around the nape and baby hair area(yep, i said baby hair cuz that's what it looks like. lol)

yep...i'm 4a...with some 3c in the back... my hair at the top looks like small little s-waves... i dunno wth to call that. lol here are pics.

yep, the back of my hair is 4b and the rest is 4a along with the crown which is 3a. my coils are similar to yours.. I found my twin.. where have you been all my life! lol.

thats one thing im afraid of, i have at least three textures in my head. my crown is super tight z patterned hair, my nape is something weird, it never "needs" to be relaxed and blends right in with the relaxed hair with no extra force, my front has these nice curls, maybe 4b but defined when i put forth the effort.

how do you deal with multi-textures like that?

yep mine usually doesnt need to be relaxed either, but I have it in my crown area. How do I deal with it....I try to make sure I have a leave in conditioner around so my hair can remain detangled (Care Free curl, anything to have slip) keep my hair in cornrows, and seldom manipulation.

I also have an allergic reaction to shampoos that contain multiple sulfates ( which tangled my hair something terrible) So I shampoo my hair (2 times a month in the summer) with a Shikaikai bar and a natural oil. (Sunflower oil. cocnut oil,).

Thanks ladies! I like looking at pictures of TWAs even though I have grown my hair out. Seeing TWA pics sometimes makes me want to do the BC again. :Blush2:

I grew my hair for 4 months so I had about 2 in. I had my hair shaped a bit so I'm about 1.5 in here.

And just incase the background is too dark. My hair wasn't fully dry so there's a bit of gel in my hair.
