I washed on Sunday, and have two more washes this week (Wednesday and Saturday). I'm using Pantene's Daily Moisture Renewal shampoo and conditioner, Seht's conditioner as a leave-in, and The Doux's Bonita Afro Balm as a styler. I'm gonna put my hair in 12-14 plaits. When I go to the gym or to run quick errands, I'll pull them back into a bun. When I go anywhere else, I'll wear a headscarf over them.

I washed my hair on sunday. I pre treated my hair with Epres bond repair treatment. Then I shampooed with Joico Defy Damage, Design Essentials Honey Creme and Matrix Food For Soft. I deep conditioned with Design Essentials Honey Creme Mask and Matrix's Food For Soft mask. This week decided to roller set my hair and for my leave ins I used Pureology Color Fanatic, Nairobi Foam Lotion, Olaplex no.9 serum and Color Wow's Dream Coat.

For flat ironing my roots, I used Matrix's Mega Sleek serum (I'm on the fence about this one)

I would like to see how long I can go before my next wash day. I'm hoping that I can get another 12 days.

Wash-and-go (to be done once or twice this week):
  1. Cleanse: AG Curl Fresh Curl Enhancing Shampoo
  2. Detangle and treat: Biolage Ultra Hydra Source Deep Treatment Mask
  3. Style: Crazy Sexy Curl Honey Setting Foam
    • Done in 2 applications: First on wet hair, then same or next day reapplied to slightly damp, foam-containing hair
    • [Note to self] This is a new discovery for me!: This double-application method causes the CSC foam to have (on my hair) the hold of a gel!
  4. Scent: Ouai hair perfume

Tomorrow afternoon I’m going to carefully take my crochet braids out.

Detangle the shed hair out. Shampoo and Condition. Not sure what brand yet. Maybe Bondbar.

Emergencia deep treatment steamed in

Bio complex leave in conditioner

Blow dry.

With the shampoos and DCs, are you mixing them together or using separately? I like thst you can layer the sprays and serums, that is good to know, I hope that I can do the same when I get to trim day.

Shampood with Bondbar Clarifying shampoo once. Then shampood with Keracare Curl Essence Moisturizing shampoo. Conditioned with As I Am Onion Conditioner. Rinsed out and then added Emergencia deep treatment for 5 minutes.

Rinsed and added Bio complex Glow drop High shine and air dried for a bit. Blow dryed with Revair.

Tomorrow I'm planing to:
Detangle and section hair, cowash with Alberto Balsam cheapie, DC with Aphogee 2 min reconstructor woth oil blend over the last 2 inches.
Moisturise With S Curl and Cantu hair lotion, seal with Avocado oil (running out), and either Papaya/Sunflower/Grapeseed/Safflower oils. This week I will oil my ends daily to condition and hydrate them in preparation for my upcoming trim.

I’m using them separately. I’ll shampoo at least 3x on wash days and then I’ll DC.

Yes I’ve been layering the sprays and serums because I’m really trying to avoid heat damage.

t's good to hear that those products can work well together and not cause any issues. I'm planing on straightening my hair within the next couple of weeks, I am hoping to be able to layer multiple products for extra protection, and also not have my hair weighed down. Thank you, that was very helpful.
