On the fence: Alodia Gelly Custard. It’s not a multi-use product for me, but it works very well for buns. My hair stays moisturized. I don’t think the purchase price is worth it if I can’t also rock a WNG. I haven’t tried using it for twists, so maybe I’ll test that out after I complete my trim this weekend.

Big hit: Verb Glossy Shampoo and Conditioner (old formula). My hair is behaving differently now that I’m not using products with coconut oil or derivatives. While I can’t avoid coconut oil derivatives, for they are in everything, one derivative on the label doesn’t seem to affect my hair. My hair is so hydrated and lays down with minimal effort. I love it here! I no longer have to pre-poo, nor do I have major tangles after bunning.

Hit
C&P ayurvedic shampoo. Back to the way I remember it. Very moisturizing.

Miss
C&P Rice Water conditioner. My hair was rough and dry after using this. Maybe I'll add oil.

Hits:

VOCE HAIRCARE Thermal Heat Mask:
This looks like water but somehow moisturizes & softens the hair. I sprayed this on damp hair then blow dried with my Zuvi Halo dryer. My hair felt amazing!

Cecred Reconstructing Treatment Mask:
Hair felt really good and curls were popping. I bought a trial kit from Ulta. I might buy a full size once I finish up other products first.

John Paul Mitchell Neuro HeatCTRL Blowout Primer:
The packaging has changed from a blue bottle to a white bottle. I found the blue bottle on clearance at Cosmoprof. Looks like the ingredients have changed a little now too, a lot of the same ingredients but in a different order. My hair felt AMAZING after using this. I was testing this & Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Restructuring Bond Repair Leave-in Heat Protection Spray, which is also a hit. I used the Alterna first on one half of my head and my hair felt great. Then I used the Paul Mitchell on the other half and I was like whoa, wait a minute. The softness and airiness was out of this world.

On the fence:

IGK Body Language Rice Water Plumping and Thickening Mist:
I’ve tried this twice and my hair always feels coated and a little sticky. I’ve only tried using it before blow drying. I’ll try using it to air dry. If I still don’t like it, maybe I’ll use it as a pre-poo or on my human hair wigs. It has good ingredients so I don’t want to just toss it.

I've heard good things about that neuro line from paul mitchell, reading your review has me even more curious about it.

Hit: Image Intrakera Leave-In Conditioner. I love this stuff. Dare I say its better than my beloved Mixed chicks conditioner?:headspin:
