The hair looks good. I'm the opposite of you in regards to dye...very phobic. I used to be a dye addict too, but my hair hated it and I got the message way too late. Now I'm even afraid to do a rinse/cellophane/henna/indigo,etc. I want to dye my hair a deep, rich black sooo bad. Thanks for sharing.

Once you go black you never go back lool. Your hair looks great!

lol i actually was black about 5 yrs ago but it was a natural black and this is more of a blue black. i always heard people say how they love blue black and i was scarrrrrred but it was pleasantly suprised abd thank you:grin:

really? im sorry to hear that :perplexed and thank you:yep:

I dyed it with Bigen Oriental Black, but i'm going to go with rinses from now on. I just have to find one that lasts:wallbash:

looks nice. there is nothing like black hair! i just told my husband 2 days ago that i wanted my hair back blck. i just lightened it late november (for a change- my hair has been black for several years now) and already i'm tired of it and have quite a bit of ng and miss my shiny black shiny hair--did i say shiny?? lol.

@DesiRae: tht's what i usually use, but i might try ingido. **IF ANYONE KNOWS OF A GOOD BLACK RINSE THAT WILL NOT BLEED AND LASTS, PLZ SEND ME A PM. THX LADIES!!

This is REALLY nice!! I REALLY want to dye my hair jet black, but I keep talking myself out of it

I was inspired by this thread and went ahead and dyed jet black . I was tired of reds and browns and I always liked how jet black cellophanes looked on me--so I thought, hey, why not a permanent?

I know one day I'll get bored and want another color, but I always have to be very careful about it b/c there are certain brands that just don't mix with my hair, and though I see pretty blonde colors that are also inspirational, for *me* I know it'll = setback.

I applaud the ladies who can rock it though and keep their hair lush and healthy!

lol thank you!! hey i have a question, why do you want to rinse instead of go permanent?

I agree! I went to black about 2 years ago when I did a bad bad thing, I dyed my hair blondish for prom and lets just say the day right after I went and got the darkest color I can find. Since then, I've been religiously dying my hair black with Bigen Oriental Black or Blue Black. There is no color like black!

I just used Bigen Oriental Black for the first time! It's a winner! :yep:

ooh you did it YIPPIE!! lets see the pic??? :yep: and yeah i feel you because i know i love colors but there is nothing like black! :spinning:

ok i have never tried bigen so what is the difference in it versus regular blacks? i always see alot of ladies saying that they use that brand so i was just wondering.

You don't have to use any developer, it's ammonia free, and you just add water. I'm uploading my pics right now so you'll be able to see how well it covered my hair. I had my hair previously dyed red/reddish brown (Garnier).

I co-washed and bunned today :yep:

And DOH!!!! I just noticed a slight red streak still in there. I willingly admit that I suck at DIY dyeing, :lachen:

Oooooooh, that's pretty. I like the color of the black hair against your skin tone.
