I hadn't intended on straightening my hair until the end of the year, but I decided I needed to at least dust my ends since I haven't had a real trim since august. I didn't do any prep (like my normal rollerset or stretching....or DCing) :look:. II co-washed last night and applied some cantu leave in on my ends because I had a test this morning so my hair was flat-ironed from it's natural unstretched state. I used my Maxiglide with the pin plate. I also used Chi Silk infusion, Chi iron guard and a little mist of Beyond the Zone Turn Up the Heat (just in case). Sooooo....here they are:

Almost BSL:

Very beautiful! My maxiglide just came in two days ago and I'm itching to use it even more now since I've seen your pictures!

I need to stop looking at these Maxiglide threads before I go and buy one myself.

Your hair looks so pretty, and shiny.

To be honest, I own about 3 quality flatirons (Maxiglide, FHI Platform, & the GVP). Each has their pros and cons and all of them serve the same purpose and can produce similar result with the right technique. Use slightly wider (no greater than the length of the FI plate), but VERY thin sections. Start from the back and work your way to the front, leaving the perimeter out until the very end :yep:
