I don't post alot so I figured I would make it good :)

I can't believe it's been a year...i am so happy w/ my hair's progress & I continue to thank God for LHCF w/ every inch i grow (and retain!). I've kept things pretty simple and have been weaved, wigged, or in a fall pretty much this entire year. I've only flat ironed 4 times and I think I may try once every other month for 2010. We'll see. Thank all of you ladies for posting your progress and keeping others encouraged. xxoo

Sept 08 BC (I was not a happy camper lol)

Congrats on such great progress!! Your fros are gorgeous :yep:. That April 09 twist out is too cute.

wow...gorgeous. you should post your pics in the big bodacious hair thread.

how long did you transition for?

whats ur regi?

aww thx! i transitioned for 16 months. I keep things pretty simple and also due to my laziness lol

shampoo maybe 2x a month (creme of nature/nioxin). Co-wash on weeks in between (pantene r&n)

DC weekly w/ heat (ORS replenishing condish, Crema di Midollo Placenta conditioner-LOVE)

Coconut oil all day every day

hawaiian silky 14n1 - daily moisture and mixed w/ my leave -ins

Cantu shea butter leave -in (nothing has beat this for me)

When i'm in wigs or wearing a fall my hair is is 2 strand twists underneath.

i have a fall made out of bohyme braz wave and i wear that 85% of the time. have had one sew-in this year and getting another on in november

@ Temilynd oh i def get the single strand knots. i've jst accepted them...but its just a few so i've decided not to stress about it. i've gotten 3 trims this year (jan, july, oct) and i feel like that has kept them somewhat at bay. i'm also investing in a steamer so i'm hoping that will decrease them even more.

Great, thats what I did, got a trim that is.

@ lilsparkle...no i didn't make it myself. i need to learn how but i am clueless at craft projects lol. the only thing i can actually make well are clip-ins. the fall is wonderful though because i can just take it off and i rarely if ever have to wet it down, detangle it, etc. i also have one out of curly indian hair that i love as well.

Your hair looks awesome! Where do you get your falls?

^^i have someone that makes custom wigs/falls for me. she charges about 200 to make them. if you're in the ATL area i can give you the info

Your hair looks great, and you really did make amazing progress in a year. I am getting so excited about my 1 yr anniversary from pics like these.

Thanks for posting!!
