i am looking for a creamy leave in conditioner to use for my hair before i seal with oil...i dont want anything that will make my hair stiff like gel. just to make it soft after air drying. thanks in advance

Giovanni Direct Leave In is a very good creamy leave in. Makes my hair really soft and keeps it moisturized throughout the day.

I've seen Neutrogena triple moisture rated up alot in threads. I think am going to try it. I'm currently using Motions CPR Triple Action Leave In Conditioner. This conditioner strengthens and softens also repairs hair and reduces split ends.

So far it has done me good. I am 4a/b

Lately, I've discovered Lacio Lacio. This stuff is fab for both naturals and relaxed! I also keep Dudley's PCA and Lustrasilk Moisture Max in my arsenal.

I use conditioners as leave ins paired off with butters and coconut oil. Herbal essence conditioners are my current fave.

Nubian heritage papaya and coconut lotion
Ingredients: Coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, olive oil, filtered water, vegetable glycerin, papaya extract, coconut milk, aloe vera, Vitamin E, comfrey root extract, rosemary extract.

SheaMoisture leave in conditioner
Ingredients: Shea Butter, Deionized Water, Herbal Complex, Panthenol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Cocoa Butter, Aloe Vera, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E

I use my herbal essence hello hydration as a leave in, i love it! I also introduced it to my mum and now i gotta buy her a bottle cuz she won't leav mine alone! lol!

I know these are not popular leave-ins on the board but Beauty Without Cruelty and Alba Botanica Leave-Ins are amazing natural organic leave-ins (www.vitacost.com). I also love  love Elucence Moisture Balancing Conditioner (cone and glycerine-free) that double as a leave-in as well and it smells simlpy delish:lick:.

Hwve you tried Herbal Essences Long term Relationship leave in... wonderful!

also, Cantu Shea Butter Moisterizing Leave-In

Cantu Shea Butter Moisterizing Leave-In - I use this on my daughter's natural hair and my relaxed hair. As a matter of fact, we use the entire line. Great stuff!:yep:

Some favorites;

Surya Henna Color Fixation

Alba Botanica leave-in

Healthy Sexy Hair Pumpkin Potion

MOP leave-in

Giovanni Smooth as Silk Conditioner

my top 3 are:
karens body beautiful hair milk
giovanni direct
kinky curly knot today

they are all natural, very moisturizing and the last two can be found locally. i also like darcy botanicals daily leave in but you have to get that on line from etsy.

I second Turnergirl on Knot Today. I also like Honey Hemp Conditioner from Oyin Handmade.

I like Honey Hemp, too. It's similar to the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Leave-in in consistency, which I also like but can't use too much of because the cones make my hair sticky.

i thought rinse out conditioners caused build up when used as a leave in and some people experience alot of itching using it that way...

Blended Beauty Silkshake
Qhemet Biologics Amla and Olive Oil heavy cream
Elasta QP Mango butter (it actually shingles my curls)
Kids Organics Shea Butter Detangling Lotion

I use Lustrasilk Olive Oil Cholesterol mixed with oil sealed with Crisco. My hair dries soft, tangle free and moisturized. I haven't gotten any build up.

My favorite leave in is Devacare One Conditioner, but it does have some hold. I do not find it as hard as gel, but I use it. I also use the devacare mixed with a little bit of Jessicurl Weekly Deep Conditioning Treatment, but stopped because the Jessicurl was too expensive to use it as a my deep conditioner and a leave in. I also mix devacare one with shea moisture shea butter leave in conditioner and love it. However, the company does not sell the shea butter leave in anymore so it is harder to find so I will have to find a replacement.

Lately, I have also had great results mixing the Devacare One Conditioner with Oyin Shine and Define. I have the Oyin Honey Hemp Conditioner, but I have not tried it yet as a leave in.
