Ladies, I'm shocked, excited, and just feeling so happy right now. I transitioned for 7 months 1 week, and I BCed today July 28, 2009. I'm so happy. My hair is super dry because I haven't been treating it right while I wore those kinky twists, but I love it! I'm so happy. Today I just felt ready. I couldn't describe it, but I knew I was ready to do the chop. I prayed about it, and I did it. I love how it came out. I'll deep condition it tonight, but I'm completely natural now! Here's tons of pics:

Thanks so much ladies. I was so ready to just be natural. It feels great, and I actually love having so many ladies big chopping around me. We're all in this together.

All of you BC'ers are giving me the itch but I am trying to hold out for another year and 4 months.

I definitely think I'll be changing products to accomodate my natural hair. I'll be cowashing often if not daily, and I'm trying to use products without cones....that way I won't have to use sulfates (shampoos) as much. Thanks again lady.

Congrats on your bc sweetie.......you ladies are just showing out on LHCF! I have seen the most gorgeous heads of curls from bc threads the last couple of days....you ladies ROCK!
