"The music icon from Gary, Indiana, was known as the "King of Pop."
Jackson was the seventh of nine children in a well-known musical family"

This is a quote from CNN.com and could not help but to notice the use of past tense. I'am hoping for the best, he is in my prayers wherever he is.

My kids are really upset overhere...The radio is reporting him dead and the news on TV is saying he is hospitalized

The CNN report keeps referring to him in the past tense. However they haven't confirmed his death. He was known as the King of Pop. He was the seventh of nine children.

Where are you guys reading CNN reporting him in past tense. This is what I just read on CNN: " The music icon from Gary, Indiana, is known as the "King of Pop."

Jackson is the seventh of nine children in a well-known musical family." Or did they just edit? Could it be that they are waiting till family and friends are informed before making it official? Just a thought. I know if he were family, I'd want that.

They just released a conference in front of the hospital in Westwood Ca and they confirmed his death...My childern are not taking this well at all...I have to go and comfort them now

Los Angeles Times and CBS News have confirmed that Michael Jackson has died, but CNN has not confirmed it.

Oh my. Even if he's in a coma, he's probably brain dead. If that's the case, I'm really saddened to hear that. He was young. That's just horrible. I pray for his family, especially his children.
