Whisper "bleep boop" to yourself when you're sad.
When I first started, I was very strict in sticking to my reggie.

Nowadays, I have a reggie, but if I feel like co washing on some random day, I'll do it. If I get the urge to do a flexi rod set, I'll do it.

What about you all, are you strict or lax?

I guess I'm kind of strict. I have set days to cowash and wash, adn t hose days are the easiest for me. I'm tryna hurry and get to APL so I can breathe, so yup I'ma kind of strict :)

I wouldn't consider my regimen strict as far as days and styles.... But I am strictly Ayurveda now (apart from when I straighten which will be once in a blue moon for this yr) and most of the products I use during the week are vedic/natural/organic.

I'm in the middle, leaning closer to lax. I don't do anything to damage my hair, so as long as I'm sticking with a tried-and-true method, I'll just do whatever.

Session One of Bootcamp I'm going to be strict though.

I am not strict at all. I usually listen to what my hair says. Everything is based on how my hair feels - no me.

Mannnn I have a mission, I have goals. I do everything weekly and stick to that. I have to wash, 2 min Aphogee, DC, every week. If not I will feel bad....

I have simple regimen so I don't stray too often, however I will incorporate a new product or technique if I feel it will benefit me.

i basically stick to the same regimen i moistirize evreryday with my mixture of oils......:look: and i take my vitamins everyday, i Dc every week and i drink lots of water like a gallon a day . i switc h it up if i want to but i stick with the basics....:yep: i know what works for me ,,,so im sticking too it ,.

School is a priority, so when I'm tired, or I need to devote more time to studying I end up bunning my hair or putting it in a clip or under a phony pony. I love wearing my hair down, so this is rare, but it happens.

Also, I'm not huge on moisture, but if my hair seems to need more moisture or oil, I (reluctantly) up my normally light moisturizing routine.

I'm strict because I know myself. If I'm lax 1x time that's okay but it can't get to 2x bc I will be in trouble.

I am the regimenless industry girl. I stick to nothing, and follow no rules regularly. This is my downfall and haven't been pulled up yet. :wallbash:

I'm fairly consistent due to being pretty busy in other areas of my life--having a routine I can do without thinking too much is helpful (like during stressful moments with school). If there's a deviation from my routine, it's usually due to laziness :) , illness, etc.

I use to be strict with my regime when i first started but i do stray from time to time on wash days but other then that i am hardcore on the products i use.

I'm lax to the point of being lazy. I know what works and how to get what I want so I guess I'm just chilling. I don't even feel like I have a regimen anymore, I just do what needs t/b done and that's it. Crazy how I still manage t/b a PJ though :look:. This hair is becoming more and more work so whatever gets me in and out the quickest w/the least amount of tangles, shedding and breakage, I'm all for it. My hair is growing like crazy right now so it must like my laziness .

I'm strict, I think. My problem is that I change my regimen to keep up with my hair, so I go through periods of super strictness (once I've figured out/stablized my reggie) and other periods where I'm kinda lax, because I'm still trying to figure out what works. The strict periods definitely outweigh the lax ones, though - thankfully.
Also, my hair starts to whinge when I don't stick to the program, so some things (like weekly DC's) just aren't optional. Period. End of discussion. :lachen:

What she said. I try to stick to Sunday and Wednesday as my wash days, but sometimes I'm lazy or busy. I do, however, make sure it gets done twice a week.

I can get into certain habits easily. Well, except when it comes to exercising. :look:

I do my reggie on a here and there basis and that is why it took me two years just to get to SL..smh

I need to get strict with my regimen.
I usually shampoo every week, but sometimes I go 10 or 12 days between shampoos.

I do have a reggimen but I will do something different every now and then depending on what my hair is demanding from me and also when I feel liek it.

This year I plan to be more strict and actually stick to a reggie. I want to stick to a set wash/dc cycle, moisturize by schedule and use limited styling methods.

I am not strict with my product regimen, but I am strict about my activity regimen. I will co-wash twice a week, DC at least twice a week, roller set, do my light protein (which will forevermore be Nexxus Keraphix), but the products that I use when I do the CWs and DCs will vary depending on what my hair says it wants.

I am strict about certain things like DC at least once a week, no direct heat, wash at least once a week.
But i am not that strict on things like co-washes, protective styling. I wish I was stricter, would probably get me to BSL sooner

I'm pretty strict with my regimen. Still tryna find my way around, and looking for some tremendous growth to reach my goal of BSL by end of year 2009. Don't want to do anything to result in any *major* setbacks.:yep:
