Now, about 21 months later

(excuse the look on my face. The stylist seemed tickled by my ridiculous hair cut)

October 26th - today, 5 months later - NAKED!
(this was after my all natural hair treatments)

Can I say your hair looks vibrant! Like the roots are really strong and thick and I could see you getting some serious length with hair like that!

Your hair looks thick and all your layers are growing out!!!! I went through that and thought, I will never put layers in my hair cause it really slowed me down. But your hair is growing out nicely. Are you planning to keep one length? What is your hair goal?

Your hair looks thick and all your layers are growing out!!!! I went through that and thought, I will never put layers in my hair cause it really slowed me down. But your hair is growing out nicely. Are you planning to keep one length? What is your hair goal?

I wish I had layers. The color was breaking off and that kept me at chin length for years. If you noticed in the recent pic my ends are still light. I have been dusting the color off slowly. Hopefully I will be one length by next year. My hair is a precautionary tale of why one should not use store bought hair color with peroxide and learning to moisturize properly.

Crown and glory and patience and growth aids. Im relaxed. But I do it every 6 months. Been tempted a few times to take the natural plunge. I have done it a few times in the past. I may do it again in the future.

I BC'd to a TWA (in this pic I hadn't yet trimmed off the relaxed ends, my natural hair was about 1" long) and 2 years later reached APL.

I'm computer challenged so hopefully this works....
