tiffers

Whisper "bleep boop" to yourself when you're sad.
I deep condition for an hour with heat. If I try to dc for any less than 30 minutes, my hair will be like "Uhhhhh, so WTF you think you doin?!"

If I don't use heat, I'll dc overnight :yep:

ETA: Oh gosh, I just realized I put the wrong thread title up there! I guess this sleep deprivation is starting to effect my sanity :giggle: Please disregard the title, it's all my baby's fault :lachen:

Usually for at least two hours, and depending on how late in the day I got started, overnight. :yep:

I can't sit under the dryer for more than 30 mins. When I first started the DC challenge I was pretty consistent with DC'ing with heat. Now that the summer is here, it's just too hot to sit under a dryer. I have been DC'ing overnight.

I haven't use heat for awhile now. B/C 1 it's too dang HOT (even w/ AC) and 2 i'm just too lazy to sit under the dyer. So I will DC for several hours w/ out heat and wash that bad boy out.

20-25 min w/heat

I can't stand to sit under the dryer any longer. If I choose to deep condition w/o heat, I usually keep the conditioner for 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 mins.

Blaming that sweet baby!
I don't dc w/ heat anymore. Especially now. It's been 100+ for several days these last few weeks.
I will put on the plastic cap and go for an hour to two.

I dont really like sitting under the dryer...If i could/did it would be for 45min under the dryer....SO i usually just go overnight 95% of the time or leave it in a couple of hours (like 2-3)

I dc for about 1-3 hours...........I always warm up my condtioner before I apply it to my hair, put on a plastic cap, then a hot towel over that.

I picked overnight...The longer the better...But the my life doesn't always allow me to deep condition over night ..But I try to squeeze overnight in as much as possible..

Most times I deep condition 30mins with heat

I've tried it all. Overnight, with heat, without heat, 20 mins, an hour...

Perosnally I found that not using heat with the dc results in less moisturized hair. Also I found that using heat for too long results in less moisturized hair.

Now I just dc with heat for 25 mins. It's a happy medium :yep:

I'm surprised to see that so many people do it for an hour or more!

i DC with a plastic cap on for 30 min w/ no heat and then i go under the dryer for another 30-45min. i have to use heat or there's no point in DCing.

normaly i deep conditione with heat for 30 minutes. lately i've been co washing daily so i dont do it with heat anymore. this past week i did it over night and my hair came out :lick:, so i will be keeping that up.

i like the way my hair feels after a DC with heat but i can only take 20-30 mins before i die. if i DC without heat it stays on at least 2 hours.

i want a gold processing cap thingy so it can get at least a little hot...now i just gotta find one, cause wal-mart and sally's aint doin' it.

I got mine from Walgreens. :yep:

I prefer at least 20 min of heat then letting the con marinate for 2 hrs, but it's just too hot!!! For now it's 2 hrs under the plastic cap.

15-20 minutes w/ heat.

Without heat, I can leave it on forever. Sometimes I'll put on a cap, then a hot wet towel, then a bag over that and go on about my business.

I usually just apply the conditioner, put on a plastic cap and cuddle up on the sofa to watch a movie. If I am using heat I will just keep it on for atleast 15 minutes but no longer than 30.

30-45 mins usually. Depends on the time I have available. Sometimes I dc for 1 hour if I'm watching tv or something or if I fall asleep. Depends.

I DC with my Mastex Heating cap 30-45 min with great results each time.
I have to have heat.

It depends on what my schedule looks like. Usually it is 45-60 with a heating cap if I'm not in a hurry then I leave it in after the heating cap until if feel like rinsing it which could be hours later or the following day.

With heat .. about half an hour .. then another half and hour without cuz I'm lazy.

Without heat .. all day or overnight. Sometimes both. <~ Again, pure laziness.

Depends on how i feel, sometimes overnight and sometimes anywhere from 20-30 minutes to an hour.
