I feel bad for her but they did say she's making progress.
Was it over processing or braids that caused the damage?
My nape is overprocessed but the area was never bald just broken down to an inch.

I remember these girls in older videos. The one in the chair had a weave put in by the one speaking. At that point, she had a small bald spot....now she just doesn't have a hair line anymore! Why is she letting this girl do her hair?! She's just Jacenta's experiment.

In this video she says its been that way since she was 5 yrs old and they arent sure why, but that it was probably because they put briads in her hair too early

I used to wear braids a lot when I was a litte girl, and my edges were thin but thankfully it grew back.

my daughter has done worse even with all the knowledge I gave her, they think they know it all no matter what you tell them
but in the later videos they are trying and working on growing back her edges
She also said that the girl was flat ironing it with gel and nobody knew she was doing that

After looking at the other videos from Jacenta it appears her sister would have long, healthy hair if she would stop doing so much to it. Someone should tell her to stop putting bonding glue or hair braids on her bald spots.
in the later videos she has her hair in braids not touching the edges and they are treating the edges and there was progress, good progress

Geesh! I'm reeling from all that pore clogging grease. Her hair folicles won't be coming up into all that slime anyway soon! ...and still hanging O.P.H. (other peoples hair) on her poor damaged strands is the ultimate insult. Jacinta PLEASE, just STOP spreading the ignorance!

But I can totally believe this happened to her as a child and they were just 'dealing' with it with the weave , not properly ,but probably the best they knew

we all used grease! *some still do with no negative result*
she said later that she uses no grease now
ya'll gotta watch the rest of the videos
her hair follicles did do better and she is blessed that it did! Because for some with traction or chemical alopecia the follicles are dead and they dont come back

Here is the summary of information as I gathered it, for those that dont want to sit through the videos
They did a video of a glue in weave, she got blasted , but also with alot of negative even racial and ignorant comments. ugh I SAW THEM. At the time she did the weave she didnt address her edges because she was just showing a weave video and that was the only purpose. They probably didnt even know what else to do about her edges but cover them, just kids again , remember this. Then others blasted about her edges and the glue, she did that other video explaining what people didnt know and obviously someone instead of blasting them helped them and they got stuff for the edges and later got the MTG and the girl held up a sign with that person's name at the end of the MTG update video thanking them!
