I got my hair braided last night -- I was unsure at first but I think I love it! Next time I will ask her to braid further down.

They go straight down in the back (3-layer) I just wore them in a side pony today.

I used Magic Touch brand 100% Toyokalon I think it's 16". She used 2 1/2 paks.

on the underneath layers she started with extensions in the beginning - on the top layer I asked her to do "feed-ins" so she started with my hair and added the extension as she went.

2-3wks. Then I will take them down - DC and rest for a week before I have them redone.

Yeah - she's really nice, and never gives me attitude about my thick hair (she's natural) she was like " Whoo Girl! I forgot how thick your hair was. What are you gonna do when it's all an afro?!"
