Btw, I saw a book a long time ago about the history of afro hair, and I was surprised to learn that there was some treatment back in the 60's for people with straight types of hair who wanted to rock a 'fro. They even showed some white people with it.
The Japanese are really innovative.
Well I'll be dizzam'd
Not to be controversial but Comedian Paul Mooney said it best
"e'rbody wanna be black but nobody wanna be black.......I can't wait till they start lynching mofos again and they we gon' see who's really black"
I don't see anything wrong with it. It's no different form us using chemicals to straighten our hair. That causes damage and yet we still do it--to have straight hair. As long as they're not doing it to make fun of us, I don't see anything wrong with it.
sometimes i read things on here and i'm just like.....
them puffing their hair makes them want to be black. so me straightening my hair means that i want to be white!
reality check: ain't nobody want to be black. even some black people don't want to be black so .............
gtfooh!
