Oh my! You hadn't heard about the coconut oil?

Thanks for the info on the coconut oil...going to look into it!

Well, Friday I took a 25 minute road trip to my favorite Tack and Feed store to get more Survivor and Rehydrant Spray! :yay: Upon arrival I had a change of heart and decided give the Avocado mist a good honest try/review. I've been using it since Friday (you know how we get when we get home after a new hair purchase, don't shake YOUR heads at me!)

So far, my hair is very light and happily moisturized. I know my girls wouldn't rave about something that was bad (though not everything works for everyone either). It's lite kinda like the Dove Moisture Mist.

So, thanks for the raves ladies, I may use the Rehydrant Spray when I need a heavier Moisturizer and the Avocado when I'm traveling lite! =)

Ooops, 4:15 am, gym time! Gotta go flexin!

The cream rinse kinda scared me. My hair laid out flat. I was like awww, whatever this stuff is it's working faster than I'm comfortable with! I rinsed it immediately. I didn't notice much after it dried but wet combing was super easy. It wasn't mushy either. It was kind of surreal. Anyway, I probably won't order it again, I'll save this stuff for rinsing henna and takedown.

For detangling I think I might like this better. Survivor is a leave-in product that kinda coats (i.e., you can feel it on your hair later but it doesn't build up). Cream rinse penetrates more deeply (at least it feels that way). I haven't used Survivor in a while, but I think I like this one better.

ETA: Oh another advantage to Survivor is you can use it on dry hair too.

I FINALLY got my Eqyss Avocado Mist & Rehydrant in from Ebay.

I LOVE the avocado mist! That's a keeper!

I used the rehydrant, but not alone, so I can't give a full review on it.

I will try it alone once I get stateside for a bit.

Thanx Ladies for yet ANOTHER great product!!!

I use the Mega Tek Hair Rebuilder and I love it ! Now after reading this thread and checking out the website (Eqyss) I just have to have the Avacado Mist and the Premier Cream Rinse. Adding to my shopping list !

I just spend a grip on dominican produtcs and need to get out of this thread!!!

 my reason for trying the Cream rinse is because i wasnt getting that like butta glid with some dominican rinses and most have mineral oil in it which my hair doesnt like ... with Premier cream rinse I do :)

Uh oh, I'm getting out of this thread quick. I'm already getting an itchy finger to buy some of this stuff. I checked my local pet store today and they carry the Eqyss line. I just spent about $80 at Sally's yesterday, so I'm not buying anymore hair care stuff anytime soon. But, I will be adding this to my wish list!!!

Oh lawd, I couldn't help myself. I had to go out and buy some Avacado Mist and the Cream Rinse. :wallbash::computer:
I stopped by my local pet store and found myself staring at the Eqyss products they sell there. My mouth was all watery and stuff. I tried to pry myself away and I even kicked myself to get me out of the store, but that damn evil PJ in me took over and I finally ended up making a purchase. A $30 purchase at that!! Good lawd, see what you people have done to me?!? I've really started to lose my nerve messing around with you people!!!

what area are you out of b/c i would rather go to the store and purchase the poo and by pass the s/h charges..thanks

I see you're in Washington, DC. I'm in GA, in the southern part near Savannah. Try Petsmart or Petco, or try your local pet stores that sell horse products.

ShiShiPooPoo
How do you use the Avocado Mist? After you shampoo? I might order me some.
I use it as a moisturizer when i do wash n goes..braid outs..twist outs
I don't use it for smoother styles

Some Petsmarts..pet stores..any store that sell horse supplies....
also Farmers and Planters thats where I go get mine
Also ladies dont forget if they have Eqyss in the store but not the particular one u wont ask them to order it ..thats what I do

How are you ladies using Mega-Tek? Are you deep conditioning with it? Are you leaving it in your hair?

I honestly do not know how I feel about these products. I have been using it for just a week and so far so good. I can't style my hair the way I use to so I have to come up with another plan. Everything smells good and I really can't say anything negative about the products. Except the cost good grief. I have to ask myself is it really worth it. I waiting for the results for the rebuilder that joker cost 29.00. I don't have any breakage that I can see and I do see shedding but only in the shower and I did notice the last time I washed my hair I didn't have much on the comb at all. So if thats all it will do then I am completely and totally in. I think it does make your hair stronger - just have to wait and see

I used my products for the first time last night. I got the rebuilder, rehydrating spray and the detangler.

I have been taking swimming lessons this week so I had been co-washing all week and clarifying and my hair was a little dry from all of that.

I washed, used the rebuilder for five minutes. I didn't use too much, all of the products say to use a small amount and I figure a horse's tail is longer than my hair so the products must be concentrated. I rinsed that out and did a rinse with elucence MB. Then I added the super detangler, I didn't expect it to be in gel form, but it was nice. Then I added the rehydrating spray. I think next time I will reverse the order of the detangler and spray.

My hair smells so good today and it isn't dry or rough from the rebuilder. I air dried and styled on satin covered foam rollers. So far I'm happy. I plan on using these products consistently until December and see how much strength and growth I get. I need my shedding to reduce dramatically.
