I was quite surprised by how long her hair is.

The front is CBL, the sides APL and the bask BSL.

Her hair is now 11 inches. She's had four trims (in total she's cut 3 to 4 inches).
This is quite a lot of growth, I think she got all the hair genes from our parents cause my hair sure doesn't grow that fast.

Regimen:

She washes once a week or once every ten days.

Pre-poo: whole egg, shea butter, castor oil and coconut oil. She did this for the first three months but has stopped now. She no longer has the time to prepoo.
Shampoo : Creme of nature/ Garnier/ Fructis. She just uses any shampoo for dry hair.
DC (with a plastic bag): Pantene, Garnier or Kerastase (before). Nowadays she uses Lekair or Biosilk hydrating conditioner.
Moisturizer: She used to use ORS Olive oil lotion, Scurl, coconut oil. These days she's testing some products I make.

She moisturizes once a day or once every other day.

She wears buns, braids and twistouts.

She definitely has above average growth. Probably 1" or more and she's retained every inch. Good for her!

OMG! Four trims in 11 months? 4 inches off and still BSB/BSL? I'm not good at math, but she has to grow between 1.5-2" per month or something!

I think she must have grown 14 inches or so. So that's about 1.3 inches per month. Which is a lot. She eats healthy, doesn't exercise, doesn't take supplements (she thinks those are drugs). And has serious hairnorexia.
I'm gonna ask her if she wants to join.

She has one but you can't see much. She's gonna send it. Actually that last relaxer was a very bad experience since she was transitioning and was unaware that the stylist was going to relax her hair. The stylist had told her she would temporarily loosen her curls. She spent days crying afterwards.

That's a very nice compliment, we've been liking your hair for a long time. My sister has the smoothest skin ever. Her only problem is that she gets dark marks very easily.

I used a CANON EOS 500D with a EF-s 18-55 lens.

She last relaxed in march 2013, cut the end of the relaxed hair a few months later. We are now in march 2014 and she hasn't had a relaxer in almost one year.

Really? I have some family in Benin. We are mostly from North of Mali, but we have family in most of western Africa (Senegal, Mauritania, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Niger ). En tout cas ça fait plaisir de voir d'autres africaines.
