I use AOHSR mixed with grapeseed oil and apply it using the relaxer method. It takes me 20 minutes. I usually do it while I'm watching TV, but I wish there was a way to make it quicker. Maybe I should just use oil that's gotta be quicker.

Like 30 minutes. I go around the 6-8 sections apply castor oil and then I go back around to apply the DC. I try to be thorough so it takes awhile, and I'm just slow at doing things in general.

I really don't know, because when I have new growth I apply it relaxer style and that probably takes about 40 minutes with me trying to be careful not to pull my hair, but when my relaxer is fresh I can section into four and apply literally in top of the hair and it will soak through the hair , probably fifteen minutes . But just now, I apply but I went around like three times just to coat it again because I wanted to make sure every piece of hair was coated being that I have just had a relaxer and I even combed it through with a fine teeth comb

About 10 minutes.
4c natural, SL
Relaxer style in 4 sections.
I do not twist after DC

Maybe 5min. I got short low density fine strands. It's high porosity too so sometimes I gotta apply it twice cuz it absorbs a lot of product the first application and almost feels like there's nothing in it.

Less than 5 minutes. My hair isn't short or thin but I just apply my DC kinda sloppily. Or maybe I'm just really fast? Idk. I never use tools to apply products. I section, apply, and squeeze/twist the product through.
Why do y'all use brushes to apply conditioner? I don't get that. I can't imagine using a brush for anything but a chemical service. :perplexed:

About 5 minutes or so. Grab large sections of hair, apply DC from ends to roots, smooth and rake it through, and twist into a knot.

I need my DCs to have slip.

It takes me maybe 10 minutes...I take my four sections and apply paying close attention to my ends and making sure all my strands are coated

I apply relaxer style but I don't use a brush. I want to make sure I get my roots really well so I make small sections to make sure they're coated. That's what I mean by relaxer style.

I too apply my DC relaxer style and it take me about 30-40 minutes. Its my favorite part, plus I get to play in my natural texture......:look:

Usually I...

Part my hair into 4 section from the 2 that I wash in.

Apply my tea mixture to my scalp.

Apply my dc directly on top of it.

Lightly finger detangle

Move to the next piece.

About 40 minutes because I apply in 8 sections and detangle each section as I go.

It takes me 30-40 minutes for DD and the above is how I do it. It takes me about 10 minutes for myself applying in 6 sections and detangling as I go.

Less than 5 mins. I'm NL natural, meduim-fine strands, medium density. I just put a lot of conditioner on my hands and rake through without really sectioning. I'm heavy-handed so everything gets covered. I finger detangle as I'm rinsing it out.

By relaxer style I meant one tiny section at a time from root to tips, making sure each strand is saturated. I don't use a brush nor combs, just my fingers.

As a guesstimate:
Freshly relaxed hair - 10-15 mins to glob it on and go
While stretching - 20-30 minutes with using the relaxer method

I feel better now. It probably takes me 30 minutes. I have 6 to 10 sections. It is hard to work conditioner throughout my hair so I have to do smaller sections and work it in.

Today instead of relaxer method I separated my hair into 8 sections and applied the DC that way. It only took 10 minutes instead of my usual 20, but I'm not sure if my hair is well covered.
