A work in progress
well, what's your reason?

are you now ceiling length?

content with your regimen of malaysian breastmilk?

bored with the topics?

you'd rather talk about weaves and there isn't much of that?

or maybe you still do?

Sent from my phone-typos to be expected :)

mine: i mean, i still do sometimes. but I don't have much hair right now so I feel silly talmbout putting a DC on 1/2 in of hair.

and i don't really try new products.

I finally have a 'plan' for my hair. I pop in to hear about others' progress/see photos every once in a while, but my membership dues are definitely put to use outside of "hair".

I find my own head very very interesting, so blogging about it, marvelling at hair products keeps me pretty busy in and of itself...

Once I had my regimen locked in, and had purchased all of my favorite products in bulk....there wasn't much more to say. As it is, I really need to check in with a length check pic....I'm pretty sure I'm between BSL, and MBL, and I haven't even claimed it yet! Too bloody busy chatting about politics, and tin men, and mothers killing their childrens hamsters.:lachen:

i post in the challenges that i am a part of. i am really focused on retaining what i have and being able to one day achieve the ultimate juicy bun i want.

I was never here for hair.

Breastmilk keeps my hair looking great. It's really rare that I do anything to my hair. I usually wash and go, sometimes I add some product, but I generally cowash, it I'm getting fancy I'll part it or do a braid out (looks a lot like my natural hair).

I found my staples and got over my PJism. I have no idea how long my hair is and don't care. A lot of same questions are repeated over and over again. OT and Entertainment sections are more interesting.

thank you, Curlee. hopefully copying this regimen should take me from my fade to ankle length in no time.
I am going to use Philipino breastmilk, my uncle's wife has plenty. no he does not date black women.
(that tidbit was in keeping with Race Week festivities.)

After a while the thread topics seemed to repeat and I had my regimen together so I got bored. I didn't even know about a lot of the other forums for a long time after I joined and once I did I couldn't stay away.

I'm inching my way back into there again because I noticed that since I left there I got a bit lazy with my hair. :perplexed

It's not as fun as the OT and ET forums, once I ventured to these parts I haven't really looked back and I am a weave wearer so if I'm curious about something hair related then I just head over to BHM.

I'm more focused on my fitness journey, than my hair journey, so I also spend a lot of time in Health & Fitness. Hair is growing just fine...it's the fat that needs work. :yep:

your bun is already so pretty!

you just reminded me of the jerry curl juice craze...**** got hella weird lol. anyone remember that and that young lady with the lovely big breast who was in charge?

Ive been reading GrowAlready's blog. I know her butt is on this board so shoutout to you hon

since she has fine hair like moi, I wanna incoporate some things of her reggie. Im already looking at Darcy products and wiating for a sale..gonna be back on that side of the forum after i take out my braids since Ive spent more than enough on skincare, now that I have my fav products together, time to get back to hair

I can already see Hiatian BSS supplier's toothy grin now

I don't really care about hair that much. LOL! I comment every once and again but once I discovered the OT and ET Forum, things changed. The first non-hair thread I ever read was about Monica's first son looking like Spliff Start. That was back in '06. :D

Got settled into a regimen that works for me, and I don't plan on changing it.

Too lazy to care, too poor to invest in new products.

I still lurk for hair porn and the occasional messy Ateyaa thread, lmao

I only joined the board to see the pictures  I know what to do and as long as I avoid bandwagons, I'll see results.

I say we start a poll to see if the Off Topic ladies are all bald headed due to not being in the hair section LMAO (i'm kidding don't slap me)

I still post there. Not as often as before, but its mostly because I log in from my ipad and choose the "current" button. If I log in from my laptop I go straight to the hair forum. I have my regimen and my hair is long so I mostly reply and help the newbies.

I post in the challenge threads to keep me on track. Every once in a while, I'll respond to a newbie's thread to encourage them. :)

ETA: The OT forums are hilarious. And I love learning and working on myself. Plus I want to be an UE knock out like some of the other posters; the OT forums helped me get my skin, nails and love life together. Now if I can get my body in check...

I have my regimen. I usually view the forum my searching "New Threads" so if there is a thread in the forum that is active and I want to say something, I can easily post. On top of that I search a ton so I'm always viewing threads in there.

While I think the hair forum has a lot of great resources, I almost feel like it's TOO much at times. It's like information overload. I mostly just do natural hair sites now, or check out youtube videos for specific things I'm trying to learn how to do.

Its because I haven't done anything new with my hair in ages. I've learnt that keeping it simple with low manipulation works best for me. I've maintained my hair somewhere between bsl and waist consistently for the last 6/ 7 yrs.

I don't do much to my hair anymore. My strands are lucky to even get a DC. The main realization for me was to make sure my ends don't break (retain length). That's all I'm focused on and I really don't worry about too much else. I wash and moisturize when I feel my hair needs it. I'm usually either in braids or bunning.

lol@ ceiling length. That thread was hilarious!

I just search, basically. And sometimes too much information is just as bad as no information. I've been on the board for a min so I know the basics. :yep:
