I took advantage of Essential Wholesale's Spring Cleaning sale.

Purchased:

1/2 gallon Olive Nourishing Creme
1 lb. Almond Butter
16oz. Rosehip Oil

2 kera pro from Sally's (intense treatment).

I haven't had a touch up in a long while so I washed, used the treatment, blowed my hair and wrapped. My hair looks like I'm 3 weeks post at the most. It's on sale for $5.99 instead of the reg $10.99

Elasta qp olive oil and mango butter moisturizer
Elasta qp olive oil and mango butter Leave in conditioner
Elasta qp olive oil and mango butter curl defining pudding
Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 Miracle worker (the 32oz size)
Aphogee 2 min (16 oz)

that should set me right for a good while.

A few more items from heart j creations (etsy)

Goat milk conditioner
Goat milk lotion
Coffee butter blend (triple c)
Angel blush goat milk soap
Strawberry lip balm

My order came today CodeRed and the ingredients are just as what is listed on her site. Everything smells lovely

kinky-curly-knot-today-detangler.jpg

A new bottle of Knot Today by Kinky Curly. This is becoming a staple for me. I love how my hair feels after applying it.

@ Ulta's b2g1 :

1 PM The Conditioner
1 PM Awapui Moisture Mist
1 PM Lite Detangler

1st time trying them all and I really like them. Will probably be going back to Ulta before the sale ends. I still need to find something that will keep my new growth moist for a few days though.

Just bought today:

1 32oz bottle of Affirm Fiberguard Normalizing Shampoo
1 8oz bottle of Affirm Fiberguard Preservo Strengthening Serum
1 32oz jar of Affirm Positive Links Conditioner
1 4lb tub of Affirm Fiberguard (Mild, Lye) Relaxer

I was given 2 bags full of Keracare samples off Edge Tamers, Twist & Define Creams, Setting Lotions, Defining Custards, Glossifiers, High Sheen Glossifiers. It will take me a loooooong time to ffffinish them all. I am a happy woman right now:happydance:.

Carol's Daughter Transitioning 1-2-3 - So the last time I transitioned, I did so via the BC. I REALLY don't want to do that this time (the last time!). So I saw this kit and said "What the hell?" I have to say that my initial reaction is that this is a hit. I'm only 7 weeks post relaxer so I don't have a massive amount of new growth but this system made my hair feel strong and silky and my scalp moisturized.

Carol's Daughter Olive Oil Transfusion - Hit. My relaxed hair was dry and damaged at the ends and edges. This didn't send the hair flying down my back but it made me think twice about cutting it off.

Carol's Daughter TUI Moisturizing Leave-in Conditioner - Hit. I guess. Smells good. Does the job....but I'm not turning back flips or anything.

Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Kids Extra-Moisturizing Detangler - Hit......For my mixed Puerto Rican and Black daughter with thick spiral curls. Not so hot for my younger White and Black daughters with thinner spirals curls.

HAIRepair Vital Oils for Hair and Scalp (Grapeseed and Almond Oils & Other Ingredients) - What does that even mean "other ingredients"? I wish I had seen that before I bought it. It's alright but I know there's better stuff out there. Neither hit nor miss. :ohwell:

Mixed Chicks Hair Silk - Another Hit from Mixed Chicks. Loved throughout my household. Even by my 10 year old son.

Deva Curl Heaven in Hair Deep Moisturizer - Hit. Rescued my hair after a sketchy protein treatment.

Mixed Chicks Kids Shampoo, Detangling Spray, and Leave-In Conditioner - Hit. This stuff is pricey but I live by the Mixed Chicks brand. I have three mixed girls and this brand just does our hair right. The original formulas were to heavy for my two youngest girls hair so I was elated when they developed this lighter formula.

Kinky Curly Curling Gel - Miss, but I'm hoping it can turn into a hit. I initially liked this product but I only bought it because my BSS didn't have what I really wanted (See next item). This stuff was $16.99! I've always believed in the whole "you get what you pay for" thing so I figured this had to be awesome for that price. I wanted to use it for Bantu knots on my transitioning but mostly relaxed hair. This was just alright. I ended up having to bobby pin my curls up in the back because they started to fall by lunchtime. I think this will be better on my natural hair texture after more of my relaxer has grown out or maybe when I take my braids down from my sew-in.

Let's Jam Curling Custard - Big Hit! Creamy consistency, great hold, great smell. This gave me defined curls out of my Bantu knots and I found it for $4.49 at the grocery store of all places!

Okay so I bought a lot of stuff this month. I am a PJ and proud but I was also inspired by all of you ladies to start taking care of myself like I should. For not only myself but for my family as well!

Love life Ladies!!

I want that Hisbiscus flaxseed gel BAD! I opt'ed out of the sale though because I only wanted that one product and shipping was like 7 bucks. Their customer service is excellent though. When I didn't go through with my purchase she emailed me to ask if I had any technical problems. AWESOME!

Hairveda:

1x Jardin Conditioning Oil
1x Strinillah Deep Conditioner

gorgeoushair, I really don't know how often they have sales. They will send out an email with no rhyme or reason letting you know they are having a sale. Their products are a bit steep, but oh soooooooo worth it.

Usually only twice a year during Thanksgiving and Easter (25% off $50), but they've had at least one Christmas sale that I remember some years back (15% off).

The best deals on Curl Junkie are usually from Aveyou when they have flash sales (doesn't seem like that will be happening anymore though) and sometimes they offer 20% off or $25 off of $100. The current 15% off code is five.

Curlmart also sells CJ and has sales throughout the year.

I'm a former Curl Junkie Junkie. :look:
