My mom's hair journey...

This actually isn't where she started. She had 0 hair on her head and it didn't start growing back until more than 2 months after her final round chemo.

April 22nd

She's been wearing wigs since chemo, but is finally ready to start wearing her hair.

I am so thankful she is alive today. And I am thankful she was willing to share. People always stress with cancer the person should be grateful for being alive but fail to realize that some of the effects of the treatment can be devastating. I am very excited for her.

Lots of hugs and prayers to you, your mom, and the rest of your family. My grandmother had breast cancer a few years ago and shows no signs of it today- and my mom's was in stage 4 by the time they found it so I know exactly how you're feeling. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here for you.
