You are such an inspiration to me. My relaxed hair looked just like yours. I'm natural apl now, but I was wondering if my hair would get to WL. You defiantly show that it's possible.

I love the proogress pictures. Your hair is so healthy, thick, and lush. I just love everything about it.

Your hair is beautiful and you are an inspiration for those who don't think they can have long, healthy hair.:grin::grin:

My goodness! Just seeing where you started from! That's some AMAZING progress! Congratulations!

So, are those naysayers congratulating you now? I'll bet they can't believe it! Keep it up and thanks for the inspiration because I had thin relaxed hair too before I did my BC. You are proof that if you stick with a good regimen it works!

@Austro--Afrikana how did you achieve the style with the red shirt? I love it!

ItsMeFre sorry for the very late reply lol. I just did a flat twist in the front and pulled my hair back into a ponytail using IC fantasia gel. I twisted the ponytail into about 8 twists and then tucked them around using hair pins that have little diamantes on them.

I transitioned for 3 years and was left with this:

This picture right here is what is keeping me in two-strand twists as a protective style!!!!!

Thanks for the info! Did you do it on wet or dry hair?

Phenomenal progress! Do you take vitamins to aid in your hair growth?

Nova I took chlorella for a few months and also tried the waist length shake. My growth rate stayed the same at just under half an inch a month. I now take saw palmetto for shedding.

@ItsMeFre I always dampen my hair with my moisture spritz of aloe Vera juice and glycerine.

Wow! Your hair looks amazing! It's truly amazing how flat hair can be when relaxed, and how big, beautiful and luscious it becomes when natural.

Oh my goodness. I had to interrupt hubby while he was eating his chicken wings and watching a move just so I could show him your progress. He was like "Oh WOW!"

You're hair is beautiful.

Wow! I'm gonna show this to my 14 year old niece who has thick hair natural hair like you and wants to relax. I think this may change her mind! Look how your hair thrived when you went natural! Thanks for sharing.
