I purchased a LivingSocial deal for keratin treatment recently. It looked like a good deal and when I called I spoke to the salon owner and she was so helpful and nice. She explained everything and answered my questions, without sounding like she was rushing me off the phone.

My appointment was Wednesday (I would have posted earlier but I'm traveling hehe). Upon entering the salon I was impressed. It didn't feel cold, or impersonal at all. Everyone was friendly, I was offered a drink and everything that was going to happen was explained. I picked the option for hair coloring and thought I wanted all over color as my roots were dreadful and I was scared of looking a mess adding highlights to fading color.

The colorist asked me if I was interested in highlights and I'm sure I lit up. She told me it would look great and I gave her free reign on color...as light as she'd like, as bold as she'd like, whatever she thought would look good. She was awesome. Very personable and kept me relaxed the entire time.

She washed me out 4 or 5 times with the Coppola shampoo and the owner came in to check on my hair. I was given over to the owner to blow dry my hair. She was super gentle, and I didn't lose any hair. Most of you guys know the process, so I'll spare you the details. It took forever because I have a lot of hair and everyone was waiting, watching everything unfold.

I am in love. My hair looks and feels amazing, photos (especially camera phone pictures) don't show how beautiful it looks. When I got off the plane my mom touched my hair, squealed and asked if it was really my hair.

I haven't washed yet, and I'm looking forward to being able to do what I want with it.

I'm posting the information for the salon. It's in Midtown Atlanta and she's still offering the deal on the LivingSocial page even though it's "over". She will allow you to purchase the deal at least until the end of the month and you can use it within a year. It's a great deal, because highlights alone have costed me up to $75 at a hair school. And I love supporting black business. :)

Kelli did my color and Tomeca (who has the most beautiful natural hair that unfortunately was under a hat when I went in) styled me.

This is before. I'd flat ironed and it came out great, but ATL humidity was no joke.

My curl pattern. I cut off about 6-8" in August so it is just a shorter version of my siggy.

The pictures have a much oranger tone than in real life. My natural color is about a 4. I'd dyed it a auburn color in the summer on my own.

Very pretty.
I am glad you had a positive experience. I always wonder what kind of service people get off of those spa/salon deals.

Thanks ladies. I never post pics but the deal is still going on and I wanted to let people know. It's an awesome deal and they had great service.

I'm going to buy another deal for when I'm ready to go back in a few months.
