Tiny hair update (PITCHASSS!)

My hair was flat ironed before I washed it. I didnt detangle it at all and this is how it looked after I shampooed, conditioned it and stuffs. It would definitely look better if I had used a comb, fingers, or denman but Im proud of how it did on its own . Anyways, this is more of a length check in my natural state.

I rarely ever see my hair this way... just down in a wash and go style. I usually do a pony puff or straighten it. The main reason why is because my front is usually straighter than the rest... well guess what?! I have inches of curlier/wavier hair growing in now! I cant wait to grow my hair out longer so I can cut the straighter pieces and have a more "uniform" look. Auburn is excited!

Im going to give my hair a break this week and go mega conditioning with oils, ceramides, and such. Perhaps later this week I will shingle it or something.

ETA: In the beginning near my BC, I still had a few uncut pieces in the front. I didnt wear my hair out like this...trust me .

Hey Auburn! Would you say that your curl pattern became more defined as your hair grew longer or is this from it being super wet? it really looks like as your hair grew your pattern changed idk....

I think my hair is more defined now. Tonight's picture however is different from the other because I didnt do any detangling and I let my hair do its thing while I washed it. The weight of my hair plus the water & product also effects the look. I think that working with a long length helps with defining. Finger combing with a lot of product helps me define my hair in the shower. Im careful washing the product out without disturbing my hair.
