I struggled for a long time looking for a daily moisturiser until I tried Taliah Wajiid Mist Bodifier I will not use anything else for now as it is so good

ITA. I'm weaning myself off of glycerin as well. I'm mot natural ,but i'm 19 weeks post and this stuff makes my hair soft and keeps it soft. This is the first non glycerin-based product I've tried that does that. Its like S-curl but natural I love this stuff

I mix any cone/paraben free conditioner with aloe vera gel, jojoba oil and castor oil (ala kimmay tube kinda) and keep it in the fridge and use it once or twice a day, I don't get much build up because I shampoo quite frequently.

does anyone kno if vo5 detangle and shine leave in is good for new growth? im transitioning and wave nouvo isnt working for my new growth

Uh...Ermm....:look:

I'm not natural, but deep into my stretch and I am using KBB Hair Milk:drool: and Dudley's PCA Moisture Retainer.

*slowly backs outta naturals thread*:hug3:

It varies.

Profectiv Root Strengthener
Castor Oil
Black Castor Oil
Avurvedic Butter
Jojoba Oil
Avocado Oil
Glycerin

I've noticed that in the summer, just about anything will do.

Although I don't apply anything on a daily basis except water, when I use Qhemet's BRBC after shampooing, the effects remain for up to 4 days (I am still using the 2oz sample I purchased in January, which is no where near half gone).

On my lazy/busy days, I apply a spritz that contains mostly water that has been added to a Skala and Hot 6 oil base.

Afroveda's Purr whipped gelly. It's all natural without glycerin. Ingredients: aloe vera whole leaf gel, coconut oil, almond oil, herbal oil complex, and vanialla essential oil.:yep: Smells so good!:lick:

isnt that more for twist outs and defining curls?? if not then id like to try this

Silk Elements Moisturizing Leave In (AMAZING!!!) and it is only about 6 dollars for an 8 oz from Sallys and it has no mineral oil, petroleum, or lanolin.

This is the latest one I've been using. I seemed to go through the jar REALLY quick, though. :ohwell:

I did like the smell, the texture, and the way it seemed to keep my hair moisturized......but damn, unless I'm imagining things, I don't think I even had it for 2 weeks....

Also, what do you guys recommend for use with hot six oil? Because that's the oil I've been into lately, and it has turned me into a fairly loyal fan. I'm just not as loyal to any one moisturizer. So, anyone who does/has used hot six, any particular moisturizer that goes good with it?

Giovanni Direct leave in I've tried everything else but always come back to this, its just perfect

i was using avocado butter before I bktd, now im using qhemet brbc and aohc. i am looking for a refresher on the 2nd day of my w n gos... hopefully someone will chime on on watery spray stuff...

While it's not a watery spray, Foodie, I LOVE Paul Mitchell Foaming Pommade on day 2 of a WNG. I've been a natural for years, and nothing has ever given me multi day results like this stuff. It is not a moisturizer, but it makes those curls pop.

My moisturizer of choice (these days...I'm a product hopper) is Parnevu T-tree leave in (in the bottle). I like hair lotions, and this stuff is great! It leaves the hair soft and it's not all all greasy.

Have you tried Bee Mine Juicy Moisturizing Daily Spritz? It's awesome.

This is my staple moisturizer, and I am absolutely in love with it. The best moisturizer I've used so far. My hair stays so soft and moisturized with this product. I love it! I totally agree about it being like S-curl but natural. It's great!

i should try this too! i was looking on youtube and some people said it wasnt thick enough for their hair so im a little skeptical but maybe i can use lighter moisturizers once i use roux porosity control

Spritz with watered down leave in (KCKT or Oyin Honey Hemp...or whatever I'm feeling at the moment.I'm a bit of a product junkie  )
And I seal with shea-coco or Curls Nurture Cream.

Trader Joe Nourish Spa conditioner is my go to. I just started adding a bit of honeyquat, SAA, and pathenol to it--works like a dream.

im COMPLETELY changing my regimine and i need a new moisturizer because my hair does not agree with glycerin based products and i was using wave nuvou. could u ladies please list off what moisturizer you use and even why u like it would be great!!:yep:

Crazuy question :drunk: what makes you say that your hair does not agree with glycerin based products? What are the adverse reactions? Would be helpful to know - thanks!

I am not 100% atural yet but Taaliah Waajid Mist Bodifier has been a savior to my NG. I wet my hair without detangling and it matted I sprayed this on and it literally melted it was unbelievable. I went and bought a gallon. Last 8 mnths its so thick you can add water and its still moisturizing. i love this stuff!!!
