Yeah it spreads better and it's more moisturizing

Miss- Suave Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner, Renpure Organics Moisturizing Conditioner....ugh they were both TERRIBLE!

Hits-Lubricant in my hair:look: don't judge me!

But for real it the ing weren't any diff than any other moisturizer and I didn't like how the lube tasted so....I put it in my hair:spinning:...and it WORKED!

Hits:

Joico Vaporiron
WEN Fig
Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol Plus Conditioner
KBB Luscious Locks Mask
Mane N Tail Original Conditioner

HITS-
Joico Moisture recovery balm treatment - melted a knot like nothing I've ever seen before and serious moisture.
Maxi-glide- my 8mos post hair looked like it was relaxed

HIT: Sexy Hair Pumpkin Conditioner (Thanks Coffee)

I love it smells wonderful made my hair feel soft and moisturized and it gives off a tingle on the scalp.

Love this stuff. I got a gallon jug of this conditioner at TJMAXX for $19.95.

Another Hit: Barry Fletcher Moisture Therapy Revitalizing Conditioner...Provided a lot of moisture and made my hair very soft

MISS: Aubrey Organics J.A.Y Shampoo
It's a thick syrup that doesn't lather. I kept pouring more on because it's not easy to spread around, but that didn't work either. I also don't feel that it cleaned all that well. Though it didn't strip my hair like most other people report, at least until I had poured gobs of it on lol. I had to rewash with my favorite shampoo...

Long time HIT: Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Shampoo.
I can't say enough good things about it. It smells good, lathers well, gets my hair and scalp clean, rinses easily, and lasts a long time. My hair/scalp feel great after using it and not dried out or hard to the touch. I've been using it for several months and I'll be sticking with it from here on out. I also use it as my body wash and to shave (and one bottle still lasts a month). And, it's only 3$.

HIT: Aubrey Organics conditioners as moisturizers.
I love their conditioners for regular conditioning, but thought they'd be too heavy/thick to be left in. I was wrong. They're great for moisturizing and I don't have to worry about them aggravating my scalp. Jojoba & Aloe is my favorite as a leave-in (White Camellia is my second choice).

HIT: Air drying!! (This was a big miss back in 2009, but clearly I didn't know what I was doing.. dump me!)
HIT: TRESemme Smooth and Silky! (amazing, really does make your hair feel silky & smooth.. and gives shine!!..... seems to work much better on air dried braid outs tho .. odd..
Nourish Moisture!

Miss: Herbal Essences Totally Twisted, it was a pass on from someone.. it sucks! I really love lavender smell with a passion but this lavender has an annoying lingering smell. I guess I'll mix it with my silicon mix to make it last, since silicon mix runs out like a bag of chips .....

HIT: Kirkland Signature - Hydrating Conditioner. Worked very well as a CO wash :yep: Softness and slip and comes in large quantities(2-40oz bottles)

HIT- Njoi Creations Ayurverdic Shampoo Bar :lick:
Joico Clincure

This combination leaves my hair feeling thick and strong with no shedding and little breakage and i have only been doing it for two weeks. :yep:

Miss- Not ordering the Njoi Creations Ayurverdic Oil :nono:.... I wish i did

HIT:

HE LTR Leave-in- this stuff is amazing! i wasn't expecting it to work on my 4a hair, and if it did, i thought i would have to use the entire bottle. well i was wrong. i only had to put 1 pump on each section of my hair (6), and it spread very easily. it was really moisturizing, and it DETANGLED my hair. i totally wasn't expecting that. i'm gonna keep this stuff around. ♥

Hits:

Sealing with olive oil
Using HE LTR leave in as a moisturizer
Deep conditioning overnight with coconut oil
Herbal Essences Hello Hydration for cowashes (yeah, I know I'm late)
Simplifying my regimen, for me... less is so much more :yep:

Another Hit: Seamless Magic Rake Comb .

I have the big one that I use on wash day, I want to get the mini Magic seamless rake.

Hit: mixing Qhemet amla and olive oil heavy cream and burdock root cream together, perfect consistency.

Hit:
Barlean's Extra Virgin Coconut Oil - I finally gave regular coconut oil a try after my disastrous attempts using Hairveda's Vatika Frosting.
Taliah Waajid's Enhancing Herbal Conditioner as a deep conditioner!!
Taliah Waajid's African Healing Oyl - as a prepoo; hot oil treatment
Taliah Waajid's Lock It Up Gel - Super moisturizing, combines well with other products.
AfroVeda's Hair Butter samples - Super moisturizing, Great finds!
AfroVeda's Pur Whipped Gelly - Super moisture with a great scent
Darcy's Botanicals Organic Coconut & Aloe Moisture Pudding - Works like Afroveda's whipped gelly. It's moisturizing without being greasy.
Slice of Nature's East African Shea Butter - Smooth, soft, creamy. Little scent.
My Honey Child Coconut Hair Jel - Add tons of moisture; nice scent.

Miss
AfroVeda's Hair Oil samples - All too light for hair
Darcy's Botanicals Coils Curling Jelly - left my hair feeling crunchy. May work better on those with a looser curl pattern.
Taliah Waajid's Kinky Wavy Herbal Comb Out - too greasy and not very moisturizing

Hits:

Biolage Strengthening Shampoo-- lathered really well and not to get over my head, but I saw less strand fall out then I usually do. Also didnt dry out my hair.

Biolage Intensive Strengthening Masque-- wow; smells great, texture is not too thick or runny and though its supposed to strengthen the hair with ceramide, it also made my hair SO SOFT and moisturized! I was pleasantly surprised! Less strand fall out after washing this out as well...

*MAY BE A HIT, BUT GOTTA TRY AGAIN*:

Biolage Fortifying Leave-In, Fortifying Heat Styler, Thermal Active Repair Gloss: I cant say for sure how well these worked because I also used Biolage's Detangler and Dr. Joyce's Hair Food (both are WONDERFUL!!!!!!) but all I know is that my hair had significantly less breaking strands than usual and I used the entire Biolage line today; my hair was SO DAMN EASY to detangle, was soft but not mushy. I was LOVIN it! We'll see how it goes next weekend when I blow dry & flat iron (I rollerset today)

HITS:

SOURCE NATURALS YAEYAMA CHLORELLA!!!!
Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose Conditioner
Nutiva EVCO
Satin tie bands around my edges under my wigs
Porosity Control Conditioner/Corrector
Alter Ego Impac Ego Treatment with Garlic

MISSES:

Still Giovanni Direct Leave-In new formula

Jade- what is a satin tie band?

My hit for the month is not a product, but a technique. I really, really like Kimmaytube's buffering technique when using sulfate free shampoos.

Hit: Care Free Gold - I've only been using this a week but I *think* this may be the holy grail! My hair is soft and perfectly moisturized. Not greasy at all.

Miss: Elasta QP Mango Butter - I really wanted to like this product but it does nothing for me! My hair won't stay moisturized with this stuff. I recently discovered my hair hates oils so I guess it hates butters too.

Miss: Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol Plus

I used it to DC since I'm still on vacation & I don't have all of my regular products with me. That stuff is awful. It felt great while it was in my hair, but my hair was DRY once I rinsed it out. It made my ends feel like sandpaper.
