I just thought it would be easier and less damage, since it will be washed out faster than a regular relaxer would be.
I don't understand why you would do this. Relaxers are strong chemicals which should be used with caution and not mixed willy nilly?![]()
It's an idea I thought about when I got tired of the inability to comb through my hair. I wonder if it gives the same effect of texlaxing. Has anyone tried this before, or at least thought of it?
Well dang, now I feel silly
Good thing I haven't tried it. Thanks ladies!
So I am guessing I am the only person who has played around with this idea?

Yes would be the only person who has played around this idea.
This is not a good idea at all. You every thought about what this combination would do to you if it got in your eyes or nostrils or run down your back and face? As shampoo often does?

That's what we all here for. To learn and share.

Have you thought of texlaxing?
There are many threads on it and depending on how you do it you can keep your kinks like happily me or go more straight say like Taz07.

Ya'll remember on the 'Wayans brother' when Marlon joined that cult....thats just how your hair will end up looking.
OP what you are talking about already exists and people from the Caribbean have been using it for decades. I used it and damaged my hair but that was before LHCF. It gave me the manageability I was looking for but it made my hair dry. I know now that I was using the wrong products because it is a texlax.
