Transition over. I CHOPPED!!! Updated, PIC heavy
*Disclaimer..Rant ahead*
I really wanted to get to 12mos post before I chopped but detangling was becoming a nightmare for me. My relaxed hair hated what my natural hair liked and vice versa
. I was all set to get a sew in in a 3 weeks, but all I could think was "do I really want to deal with detangling after the takedown 
. I was fed up, last night I picked up a pair of scissors and just started cutting. My DH is so wonderful, he cut the back for me and kept telling me that it was going to be ok
. This morning I went to my hairdresser and she got the rest of the relaxed ends. I haven't gotten a chance to co-wash yet so its kind of poofy, but I was too excited not to share so I took a phone pic. I'm loving my little fuzzy fro!!

Your hair looks so soft 
. Do you mean how long is it? I have about 4-4.5 inches all around (shrinkage is a beast!). The hair by my ears reaches my jawline, and the hair in the nape just touches the bottom of my neck. I cut too much in the very front because the texture is kinda straight and I thought I had more relaxer so that part only reaches my eyebrows
