Here's a few pictures of my first bantu knot out, done on dry hair. I'm transitioning and 6 months post so I was nervous that it wouldn't turn out well. My only grip is that I needed to make more knots in the back for a tighter cure.

If anyone has any tips let me know.

They came out well for dry hair I think. I dont have enough hair to tr them but I will soon.

Looks beautiful. I have yet to master it. I envy you! But congrats on a job well done.

I want mine to look like that! Help plz!!!

I did these on a hope and a prayer. I simply twisted the section of my hair then twirled it around into a knot an secured it with a rubber band. I had to do these dry because they take waaaaay too long to dry when done on even damp hair for me.

I can never get the knot to stay twited up. They're always falling, but for some reason everyone else can do them so easily. Then again, ive never really been good at doing hair

how do you keep the parts from showing? and are u using small med or large knots?

That's great! I can't do a bantu knot for the life of me for some reason.

It turned out beautifully! I love this style. It really works on transitioning hair :)

You did a really good job...much better than mine. I still hadn't figured out what I'm doing wrong.

I mostly use med sized knots and I finger part, so it looks crazy jacked up at night. But when I take it down it makes it easier to cover the parts (that coupled with 6 months of ng).
