Does this new hairstyle look stupid

Ok so I put in crochet braids, but I couldn't find freetress hair, so I used this cheapo beverly johnson hair. The hair feels supergross when I touch it :/ and has a tendency to fly away in the wind all over the place, and I feel as if everyone who looks at me is thinking "lol is that a wig" or "wow she looks crazy" but are just too polite to say it, so I'm here on lhcf to find out. Flat out opinions please, no 'lets make her feel better'. I'm like 2 steps away from taking this mess out erplexed I feel like my self esteem is taking a bit of a beater here. Idk if its the hair or if I just don't look good with this kind of 3b-ish hair, but honest opinions? even if they're "LOL U LOOK FUG WITH THAT IN" would be appreciated

Huh??? This is a perfect example of how no matter what anyone thinks....what you see is what will take over in your mind. the style looks nice on you. In fact I thought the first pic was a before shot, so I couldn't even tell it wasn't yours.

BUT if YOU don't like it, then take it out. It won't matter what we say, but I think it looks good on you.

I'm just playing, i think it's cute. I can't tell the quality of it honestly, because of the quality of the pics, but it looks like a twistout from small twists....
But, if the hair is literally flying out in the wind and i saw you in person I'd wonder why you're shedding like a golden retriever.

In my experience, you're better off changing things if your look makes you feel uncomfortable. I bet most people don't even notice your hair, good or ill. But if you don't feel fly, that's the reason to change it.

I put on wigs, phony ponies etc. all the time then self-conscious the whole time. It's not worth it.

i echo what others have said...it looks just like a twistout. i understand being self conscious though...this is the first time i have succeeded in leaving braid extensions in longer than 2-3 weeks and i feel like they are so raggedy, although multiple people have told me they look great.

Goes to show I should read the post first before oogling the pictures. I thought that was your hair until I read your thread. I kept wondering why you weren't smiling with a fluffy twistout that awesome. I like it but I had a gosh awful crochet experience so if you don't dig it then find a way to let it last a bit then take it out asap.

I actually like it. Maybe you could add more tracks to the bottom to give it a little more bulk and make it "fly away" less but I think it looks fine.
